How do lutein and zeaxanthin affect breast cancer?

I’m reading conflicting things on this. Some say it helps breast cancer, some say it hurts.

I know all say its good for eyes.

I’m looking for info on breast cancer and pls post websites- thanks

    Risk from all forms of cancer seem to be reduced by eating a healthy diet, which inclues a wide range of carotenoids, including lutein and zeaxanthin. I have read that tofu eaten during adolescence may protect against breast cancer in middle age. The older you get, though, your genetics catch up with you, and for some people, diet is not absolutely protective, though it may postpone cancer until you are older.
    So, eat your spinach. I do!

    Apparently they have a small protective effect.
